Dadswells Bridge

Photo of early Dadswells Bridge

The first bridge which spanned Mt William Creek at Ledcourt (later known as Dadswells Bridge). It is believed Thomas Dadswell designed the bridge and supervised its construction for the contractor, James McClounan. It was a pile bridge of three spans, with the centre span being semi-suspension. It was ready for use by early 1867.
